Madisyn's Shabby Chic Nursery

My Baby Girl's - Sweet Shabby Chic Nursery

After finding out that I was pregnant with a Girl, it didn't take long before jumping right in and starting to decorate her very girly nursery! I wanted to create a space that could grow with her, as well as would be calming, feminine and simplistic.

BOW ORGANIZER: Little Pink Dragonfly

As I have stated before, living in military housing, surrounded by white walls can be a huge decorating dilemma. So my challenge was to bring in color into my baby girl's nursery without painting the walls. I did this by painting the furniture instead! I chose colors which matched her bedding but also would be classic enough to grow with her.

  3. Just came across your blog and LOVE all the beautiful decorating I'm seeing! I've got to ask, how did you paint the dresser? Did you sand or prime it before painting? I'm getting ready to do the same thing for my sons furniture, but trying to get all the hints and tips first. :) Thanks!

    1. The mirrors I made myself, I used mirrors found at Michael's in all different sizes and shapes and then just attached ribbon to the back with hot glue!
